Women-Led · DMV & Beyond · 501(c)4 Civic Organization
Momentum Rising equips women and civic leaders with the tools, training, and coalitions needed to defend rights, strengthen the republic, and serve communities with purpose and integrity.
Who We Are
Momentum Rising is a women-led citizen leadership organization rooted in the DMV — DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We don't just mobilize. We build the infrastructure that movements need to sustain real, lasting change. Experienced organizers. Principled strategy. Community first.
We emerged from years of frontline organizing to meet this moment with something different: a civic home where women lead, where every voice is equipped — not just heard — and where the structures we build outlast any single election cycle.
From election protection to voter rights to coalition building, Momentum Rising is the connective tissue of a movement that refuses to quit.
Our Work
Project Sentinel trains poll watchers, prevents voter intimidation, and defends the integrity of every ballot in 2026 swing states and beyond.
Our "Your Name Is Your Vote" campaign fights the SAVE Act's disproportionate impact on married women — and every voter whose name doesn't match a document.
We connect civic leaders and partner organizations across the country — so no activist in Chicago, Phoenix, or Atlanta is left without a path to participate.
We equip women with the tools, training, and networks to lead — not just participate. From canvassing to coordination, we build leaders at every level.
